Project: Red Scarf

Its the second day into our trip and we make plans to go visit the hill top village of Mijas. Its easter Sunday and everything is shut! We go to a really bad flea market which we thought would have lots of fresh produce and baked goods but it was just junk. Never deterred we make our way to the bus stop and miss one by a few seconds and we have to wait another hour or so, eventually we get the bus in to Fuengirola Spain and the catch a connecting coach to Mijas town.

Mijas town is a quaint village set in the hill tops of Mijas costa, small white washed buildings crammed in together almost like a favela up the hill side. So many spanish locals living in close consistency. Cafe culture is everywhere and the place is very busy. We visit the main viewing points in the city and then a few of the churches and sites. The panorama is out of this world.

We get some cool pizza with a great view of teh valley and then grab a few beers at one of teh squares.

we wander about some more follow some people getting donky rides  to the bust staion, the smell is very pungent and fresh! we pass the bull ring a well and decide were a tad burst, the walk has been long and alot of it uphll. we head bacl to teh bus station aim for the hotel and Js parents old apartments then hit the pool to chill at happy hour, great first day exploring

Again so many memeorys pf past holidays I was so happy to share this place and the memeorys with my better half.
